Incredibly lucky this CNY. Won lots of money. Like BIG MONEY. Not the typical few hundreds kind of shit. Hmmm.. I feel the 'cai yun' coming hahaha!! My company had a mahjong competition yesterday. Didn't join haha. BUT YES... I'ma mahjong addict. LOL. My bro enlisted yesterday. Two years of prison. Take care bro! I'll miss you!!!

So, closed a deal today by myself!! Got the keys to a house in Tampines because neither the owner nor the fellow agent could make it for viewing. Went to a vacant house alone. Super dark. I admit i was pretty humji just now. Quite scary please. The house empty for so long, who knows what's inside LOL. But the clients are nice! Super a lot of leads now till I don't know where to start, who to serve first. Can I close all?!?! Greedy, but.. I WANT TO EARN LOTS OF MONEY!! WOOHOO!!! I waiting for the day I can afford my own condo and invite all my friends and relatives for my house warming. zZZz. Can't wait for the biggest deal to start. Zhangyi referred me a very big case. Going to meet the client at his factory soon. Sell + buy factory. Gosh. I must put in a lot of effort in this one!! This one close, next year Dennis Wee annual conference I confirm going up to get prize. Top 150 producer. This year june i sure hit target, gonna get a free trip from Aaron. BEST. And plus my dad's clients got expensive condos wanna sell. This year, is a freaky $$$ year for me. But nothing beats winning mahjong hahaha!! $_$ Cheap thrill. LOL. Cannot thank Zy enough. Always looking out for me. I guess I should listen to her, make more banker friends, then just wait for referrals. Roadshows are draining me out. Super shag. Can't wait for December so I can go on a long trip again!! By then I'll probably be super loaded I can live like a queen. I HOPE. Waiting for the day I can live like some of my fellow colleagues. This is the day I almost lost my life in Taiwan. Almost froze to death at the mountain top. Drop out from my favorite genre!!! GRRRRR!!! Anyway, this is whacking taken at Chinese Cultural University. Their school is like a big freezer!

I googled. They are a sub crew of pang pang tang. For those of you who know what is it. I have no idea what are they, but I love this choreo by Terry Lin. All his celebrity choreos super shuai. The Elva one also his choreo. This is simple and nice. I LIKE !!! See the art of back up dancing? I don't even know any of that 3 singers but I know they are the lead. Obviously Xiao Dong and A Chang are more dope, but when they all do back up, they dance nicely but not too overpowering, which is.. i guess hard to achieve. The 2 guys with shades, sibeh act cool. Like a LL only.

Supposed to learn Roly Poly by Tiara and teach burgers. I cannot take it. FUCKING CUTE CAN. Wanna slap myself. Hahaha. Maybe I shall teach them the one above instead. Roly poly is like... NOT ME LEH!!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

CNY this year has been pretty boring. I couldn't really 'celebrate' because my granny passed away last year august, and according to some chinese shit we can't celebrate CNY this year. I would rather not celebrate CNY for the rest of my life in exchange for her. But then, life is life. And so, I guess all we could do is miss her in our hearts. Sounds wrong right? The heart can't think. Okay whatever lah.

I need more friends who play mahjong. Damn it. All my friends don't gamble, or worst, told me they quit gambling. WHICH CHINESE FREAKING DON'T GAMBLE?!?! OMG LIFE IS SAD. Anyway, I've been watching a fair bit of youtube videos over the weekends cause its really quite boring... and as much as I think Dawn Yang is "QUITE" chio, she has this tendency to perpetually act cute and a constipated mouth shape that irritates me A LOT. Why the fuck would she want to post a video like this??

Who's shocked by that "HUAT AHHH"? I thought she looked like Michael Jackson when her face was so near the camera. Eeww. She's really weird aren't she? Took a video just to act cute? No wonder Xiaxue and gang hated her. Seriously bitch.

My commission can go up to 6 figures. And then I can buy a car FULL CASH. or go for a LONG HOLIDAY again. or print expensive name cards, print more nice brochures, advertise myself in straits times, get more online advertising accounts... GAGAGA!! I want to treat all my friends to a good meal too! Okay now I'm motivated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed XD.

Gonna have a SYWAB session tomorrow!! OMG I AM SO EXCITED!!! I HAVEN'T DANCE SINCE LAST YEAR!!!! HAHAHA!! Okay sounds long but no, since Taiwan trip. So it's like... a month? ONE FREAKING MONTH!?!?! FUCK LAH. FUCK ADULTHOOD. FUCK ALL THESE ROUTINES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. I need to vent some anger. Not that I can't/won't grow up or what. But once in a while I need to act stupid, let loose and go wild. Just once in a while. I hate talking to people nicely. Okay.. I hate talking to indians nicely. LOL. THEY ARE THE MOST KIAM SIAP AND CHEAPSKATE PEOPLE OF ALL. HATE IT (ehhh is kiam siap the same as cheapskate?). But besides that, I love all the other nice people around. I love how I get to meet so many people everyday. I love being out there. I love being able to answer people's doubts. So much satisfaction from the job, yet so much hard work as well.

Been watching Chick VS Dick on youtube. It's really entertaining!! I like Paul better with short hair. I think its the army that made him look more muscular and manly. Hmmm... every country should implement compulsory NS for all men. It'll make them more mature, and of cause better bodies!! Heh.

First week of 2012 and I'm already in deep shit. Naise. Alright not really deep shit lah, just really disappointed with an issue lately. Really fucked up. I won't lie that I'm not affected. In fact it really woke me up. FUCKING CCB!! Been wanting to shout out so loud till my lungs burst. But nevermind. I shall suck it up like an adult. Complain less work more. Time to grow up bitch.

Attended ADL division meeting just now. This china associate Ariel closed a 2 million deal without knowing how to speak english o.O. WTF IS THIS?!?! Dope shit. And Adrian and Aaron said something very very true. "If you everything also scared, better stay at home. Don't come out and work. If you don't dare to talk, don't do real estate. Get office job sit behind computer. No need talk at all."

IN THE FACE BROTHER!!! Dare to talk, ready to listen!!!!!!! YES. More and more stuff coming up for me. Work stuff of course. Can't wait to start the ball rolling. My project team looks promising. Hopefully the results will be better. This year will be good. Definitely. HAVE FAITH!! Every division meeting see people enter the 10K club. I ALSO WANT!!!!! Like so easy, but fucking need to put in a lot of effort. What's new. Nothing is free. This year. THIS YEAR. THIS YEAR!!!! BY JUNE I MUST GET!!! REALLY FEEL LIKE SHOUTING NOW. DAMN IT. WORK LIFE IS HARD. Now i know. What took me so long.

Taught myself how to edit videos recently. Quite fun leh. But very time consuming. The next thing I need to learn is how to use photoshop PROFESSIONALLY. And of course if possible, remix music (for my own pleasure).

First day of 2012 and I'm blogging. Goes to show the 2012-the-world-is-going-to-freaking-end tales are bullshit. Where are all the landslides and road cracks just like in the movie? Okay C-H-O-Y. Let there be peace.

So, as you all already know... I just got back from Taiwan, and the country was..... A..M..A..Z..I...N....G! Okay i admit i got kinda bored halfway into the trip, but i simply love the weather. It's like aircon everywhere. And the people!! Not exactly friendly, but they all follow rules. Unlike the typical kiasu+kiasi Singaporeans, the people there queue to get into the train, which is the main reason why i love their country. No bitchy aunties pushing you during peak hours. And their people really keep to the side on an elevator. Basically no ill-mannered people around. And mostly chinese people. Isn't that wonderful? Every Singaporean's dream. Haha. Oh, I almost died on the 8th day on some mountain because I was so cold my whole body could not stop shaking. And I'm pretty sure the wind could have blown me away if nobody was there to hold on to me. Yes. Pathetic. But I'm kinda missing that feeling. Like somebody put you in a freezer, and then on the fan and put it in your face. Hahaha.

Ehhh the food, not really fantastic because I don't eat pig intestines and all. But I'm sure its good. The night market food was the only thing i look forward to, but it gives me that "very full but not full" feeling you know? Like not satisfied because you didn't had a proper meal, just small bites here and there, and mostly deep fried stuff. 10 days in the hotel, I didn't go down for breakfast ONCE. Tskkk. Maybe I should have eaten breakfast right? Since that will probably be the most PROPER meal of the whole day. And the bubble tea there, is really not very nice. Is it because I bought it from the wrong place or there's something wrong with my taste buds. The whole time there I was hoping to find something that actually taste like what I could get in Singapore. How ironic. I spend all night thinking about how much i want to eat their food and end up hoping it will taste like what I normally eat. Bitch slap me now.

The best thing i like about Taiwan? THE CAB FARE BABY!!!

Denis is like the most entertaining teacher ever!! Amei's dancer. Can feel the vibe coming from her. The way she talks, is like an attitude. The good way. And for the first time in my life i took locking class....AND..... I SAW LUO ZHI XIANG AND ELVA AT DANCE SOUL I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION TO THE TEACHER AT ALL. So I actually didn't learn anything from the locking class haha.

Went to some yuan zu ming place and ate their stuff which i did not like. Saw some fountain thing in the middle of a drizzle and nothing special. Went to National Taiwan University at night to take a class that reminds me of Xiaohei. Definitely the best thing that happened the entire day :)

Another good teacher in dance soul - Hilda Lu. One of the more prepare teachers. She's also a Jay Chou dancer. Love her... But, since when Jay Chou dances?!? And she totally feels like Allegra. Gosh I miss Allegra and I miss steamboat!! Haha. Again, first time in my life i took popping open class. All i know is the teacher quite cute (WHEN HE POPS because he's really good at it). And met a teacher that changes the first half of his open class choreo when the class is ending. Stylo-milo.

See the teacher in the green shirt? She said she injured her neck or spine or something and couldn't full out when she dances. BUT SHE FREAKING DANCED LIKE A SEX BOMB READY TO GO OFF ANY TIME. Is she lying or something? Hahaha. The sex like free, and she is so cute. She speaks like Jasmine Chong though. Hahaha. And the photo above her, is the teacher that dances like Xiaohei.

I'm pretty sure I achieved it. This year my resolution is to able to go up on stage for next year's DWG Business Conference and receive a prize. And of course for all my friends and family to stay safe, healthy and happy. Happy 2012 everyone!!

I am leaving for Taiwan in... 11 days? And can you believe it, I actually don't feel like going. I don't wanna leave my job for 10 days. I have so many potential tenants now and I wanna hit target. I don't wanna come back and it's like 2012 already. Then I hafta start from scratch again? Bahhhh.

I realized (long long ago) that its human nature for people look out for themselves first. Nothing wrong with that. We are all selfish to a certain extent. But can people STOP thinking that the world will stop revolving without them. Nothing changes without anybody. Nobody will die without anyone. Nobody is actually THAT important. So stay humble. Just saying. Because I realized it's a "graduates" trademark to show off after attaining that little bit of success. You actually have nothing at all.

I actually have a lot to say. But I don't feel like saying anything. How contradicting. Goodnight.

Hello!! Did i mention i received an award?? Hahaha!! As hao lian as i may sound, yes i expected it haha. What's new right? (i mean my arrogance heh). DreamWerkz won the Best Arts & Cultural Club and Best Club of the Year award and i was the Student Leader of the Year!!! We're the BIGGEST winner of the SIM CCA Awards Night, and the credit goes to everyone who had once made an effort to keep the club going and made it better. Really happy for the club now. So many more people in the advance and junior team, so many potentials, so many people who can now choreograph, and so much more who are willing to share. Isn't that what we always envisioned? It seems like its happening right now. Everyone is so nice, and everyone is so passionate. Love that spirit.

I realized I blog only once a month, THE MOST. Been really busy lately (AS USUAL), dancing. FSG performed for 2 WATSinside iPhone launch parties already. One at Zirca, one at Butter Factory. AND we're invited to the largest launch party EVER, at Sentosa Wavehouse this coming 18th december, one day before I leave for Taiwan. Sounds great yes? I skipped one very important meeting on the 9th of november to perform at Butter. And the consequences are too great to handle. HOW?!?! Earn money or dance?! WHY CANNOT HAVE BOTH?!? I would love to continue dancing, but how to juggle? Especially when the nature of my work totally doesn't complement my interest. I have to give up what I love for my job? That's not the reason why I chose to do property. And I realized I totally have no interest in anything else, besides dance. I have no idea how to go about advertising my listings. I have no idea how to serve a seller. I have no idea what to do with the 2 units I have on hand now. I feel like giving up. It's so broad I feel insecure. There are no guidelines on what I should do. And this is spending me a lot of money already. HOW?!? WHERE TO START?!?! WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?!!? GET A DESK JOB NINE TO FIVE EVERYDAY SO THAT I CAN STILL DO WHAT I LIKE?! I really want to make it. BUT HOW!?!?!? It's not easy at all. So much more I need to know. My license is officially approved today. You can find my name in the CEA public register already. I waited 5 months for this shit. And now, I feel like shit. From tomorrow onwards, I will start to strategize. I need a plan. I will learn how to use the e-office and powersearch system. I WILL CLOSE THIS 2 UNITS AND GET MY 10K COMMISSION. I WILL!!! I MUST!!! I CAN!!!! ARHHH!!!! FUCKING ANGRY ALREADY!!!!!

Anyway, took mel's super reggae class today. DOPE SHIT. WOOHOO!! Love it!! I really need some new inspiration for the wavehouse choreo already. Need to push for higher level this time. No joke. The expectations on us now is like.... And I don't even know if i still have time for this.

met the most 'lao lan' person in my whole life today. seriously, the worst kind of people you can EVER deal with. rich men's (stupid) kids. which idiot told them that money is everything, and they can act like some fucked up bitch / bastard just because they're filthy rich. everyone deserves respect. and just because you're better off doesn't make your life more expensive. ignorant brats. you're nothing without your parents. wake up your idea.

but then again, maybe money IS everything.

the other day i walked into UOB at suntec. i told the staff there i wanted to open a current account and get a cheque book. the guy kinda scanned me from head to toe and give that "hello miss you got money anot kind of look". typically singaporean attitude. i took out a 40K cheque and asked if it's enough to open an account (obviously act ignorant), and suddenly i have a chair and 6 guys surrounding me. one passed me a credit card brochure, one start to ask if i'm interested in some savings plan, one asked if he can help me with anything else, the other three stand at the computer in front of me and start helping me with the administration. WHAT THE FUCK RIGHT?! see how realistic all these people are?! how to survive being average?! i'm really stunned at how fast their attitude can change. but its good that these people exist. they exist to remind me i should start building on my career already.

i'm beginning to appreciate health. been sick the past few days. couldn't perform for shawn's gala dinner!!!! URGHHHHH!!!!! just when i thought all of us can dance together again. what nice timing. GRRR!! but seriously, all the excessive coffee, late nights and irregular meals have caused my stomach to be quite screwed up. couldn't even eat now. every time i consume food i feel like puking. and there's this intermittent cramp in my stomach / intestines every time i eat. it's like, strictly no food allowed to go in. ahh.. so hungry, and painful at the same time. but i rather be hungry than to feel that cramp in the stomach. at least the aftermath of feeling hungry is weight lost right? hahaha. the after effect of pain is STILL pain. the doctor said i had stomach infection. wtf. no chili, no coffee, no tea, no milk, no acidic fruits, no fried food, no cream, no pasta, no cheese. THEN I EAT WHAT?! NABEH. i just had macdonalds after training just now. LOL. no joke. now i'm feeling it. the pain is coming... aiya, no regrets. i'm gonna start living like steve jobs. everyday i'll ask myself, if today is my last day on earth, how will i spend it?

I'm not filthy rich but i can say i live a pretty luxurious life. I eat really good food every week that many people dont even eat once a year and i basically have everything. If you asked me what i want now i'll tell you nothing. No wants. Okay maybe it'll be good if i can not work at the moment and just dance and dance and dance, but lol. Welcome to Singapore my friends, the land of practical and materialistic people who judge a person by their career / income / wealth / the car they drive / qualifications, and your friend here (a.k.a. lao niang) doesn't want to be left behind. So anyway, I am currently helping out in my Dad's or Mom's company (i seriously don't know whose one lol). 3 weeks in the company, i realised there are so many rich people in singapore. Its like if you are an average income earner you are the minority. SERIOUSLY. The extent of wealth these people have are beyond the grasp of normal singaporean. Can u imagine a pool right beside your living room, and they used it as DOG POOL cause they think its not big enough?! Or they try to be funny put a few gold fish in a big pool cause they think the pool not nice. Not nice buy the house for what?! Like that will have karma next life anot?? You know how scarce SG's land is. How rare to find a house with your own pool and stuff. Omgttm. Yeahh, so as i was saying, i realised there are SOOO many rich ppl(singaporean or not) in singapore. If every rich person in SG donates a bit to the less well off people, life would be better? What all these people do? Speculate the market? And a lot of these people are not highly educated. It's like the university graduates are competing their ass off to get a job in big companies owned by an uncle who only had an O' level cert. See the irony of life? Maybe schools should start teaching their students that getting honours and all that qualifications are not as impt as being able to spot opportunities and take calculated risks. Nobody will ask you to solve a geometry question when you wanna apply for bank loan, nor will they care if you can use the pascal triangle to expand some algebraic terms.

I got an invitation to join OCBC this afternoon!! It's a marketing position in OCBC's banking and finance department (eh that's what i was told). The funny thing is, I didn't send out any resume after I graduate. I didn't intend to even look for a job. LOL. And the bank seemed to know everything (detailed personal profile) about me!? Okay, if i ever let my parents know this they sure insist i go work in a bank. Wth. Then my property how? I wanna do property leh. Own time own target. No need report to anybody. Flexible timing. Good and relatively fast money. I spent so much money and time on it already. And I simply love the nature of the job. But still, working in a bank has more prestige than "property agent" right? Property agents like to deceive themselves. Always say they are professionals giving customers valuable information on their most expensive assets. Sigh. I face the fact even before i started. Sales means sales lah. Hide what.

OH. I think i quite popular siol. So many people read my blog. *Shy* Hahahaha. Didn't know people get so affected by what I'd say. Exactly one month now. The last time i posted an entry, my grandma was still alive. She passed away on the 17th of august, 2 wednesdays ago. My favourite grandma. Gone. I touched her face when she was in the coffin. How fragile life can be. I miss her.

Do you have friends that are always there when there's fun, but you couldn't count on them for any help and support? Everybody calls themselves your best friend when you're rich. Everyone wants to share your wealth, but who will stay when they don't get any benefits in return? Those friends who did, make sure you hold on to them for life. Those who didn't, no big deal. They'll be back when you're rich again.

Some rich people like to encourage charity work. They tell people that being successful means giving back to the society. They earn a lot, they donate a bit to those who needs it. True enough, you give in order to receive more. But sometimes I wonder, what is the real purpose of their 'giving'? To make themselves feel like saint? Or to let people know that they are successful enough to give back? I've seen a fair share of property agents talked so much about donating money, helping out at old folks home and all, but they refuse to help sell their relatives' house because their relatives asked for a discount. So, tell me, what is the purpose of all the charity? Charity starts from the people closest to you. Charity starts from home, from helping the people you know, your family, your friends, your neighbours. Not donating money to strangers and boast about it. Charity is not a one time event. Maybe my definition of charity is different, just like my definition of friends, but doing good really starts from the people around you. What makes you a better person if you can help do chores at some care centre and yet never washed even a cup at home. How is that charitable when you don't even want to help the people closest to you? Stop doing things that adds only surface value. It really irritates me a lot.

What irritates me the most are people who TWEET EVERYTHING. You want to note every single details in your life go write a diary or a blog please.

Fuck you lah you didn't know a lot of things. You think its ridiculous? There are people who really tweet like that, or equivalent. Serious. Damn irritating. Really pity them. It's an illness you know. When people feel insecure about themselves, they start to look for an avenue to recharge their confidence. These people who tweet a lot, usually tweet about themselves. They are filled with this deep-rooted selfishness and lack of social sensitivity. They are not comfortable with silence in their real life, so they feel they have to fill it with something, just anything (like praising themselves on twitter). Most of them do not understand they are annoying you with their tweets, they think of themselves as very interesting people, rare to find. You might want to check how many people has blocked you.

Gonna take my RES exam in 2 weeks time. Really hope I can pass quickly. Meanwhile, I am enjoying my MBS job with O School. Dancing in MBS every weekend with dope dancers. Hopefully I can get some of their aura haha. Oh btw, I dropped out of this year's recital. Never intended to do this year's recital since the allocation is out. For the past 2 years, I never got the genre I wanted. Same for this year. Still very disappointed with myself, but nothing is gonna change. And I'm not gonna do recital for the sake of wanting to be a part of it anymore. Don't like means don't like. Life goes on.

OMG I AM SO FREAKING NERVOUS. I really wanna get into the street jazz item. I already did two years of hip hop for recital. I wanna do street jazz so badly I am freaking myself out. The choreo damn hard. So many pros auditioning for street jazz. Evelyn say Fredy wanna do an all guys item. Means what? Females no chance?!?!?! ARHHHH!!!!!! Street jazz...... I REALLY WANNA DO STREET JAZZ FOR RECITAL!!! BUT I NEVER AUDITION STREET JAZZ BEFORE LEH. HOW? If i get hip hop.. we'll see lah. zZz

Wah the MBS event is a stress. Especially when Gin is teaching. Got vibe leh. Then all the dancers so pro!!! Sam, Razmy, Yanwei, JJ...etc. All the instructor level people. Walao make me practice and practice and practice the choreo cause fucking stress. Ok buck up Shiqi. BUCK UP.

My first RES class on friday. Like I said, every class got this one person that likes to ask stupid and unnecessary questions. Seriously wtf. I feel like asking her to just shut up. The lecturer already going so bloody slow, and she kept interrupting him. I think you in the wrong class mdm. Wasting our time. And I think other agencies very no standard leh. Go launch wear polo tee and jeans? simi lan jiao!? Our guys go office never wear tie also kena kaobeh kaobu already. Go launch wear polo and jeans sure kena kick out of the company. Tskk. Whatever lah not my company. And I think I will do well for the exams so no worries:)

I've been watching the street jazz video on repeat mode. Why they change the audition style this year?! I rather go studio and learn the choreo tmr. Then I can sleep peacefully now. Sigh. And I think I catch steps faster then most people. I see one time can follow already. Should be an advantage if they audition the normal way. Now they make us learn from video. They uploaded the video two weeks ago leh. If i walk into the studio tmr and forget steps I got no excuse. Kill me.

I should have registered for Reggae as well. BIG BIG REGRET. REGGAEEEEEEE!!!!! ARHHH!! I always stick to hip hop because I'm afraid of doing things that I'm not familiar with. I wanna do waacking, street jazz, reggae..etc but I registered for hip hop leh. Damn it. Nevermind at least got something to fall back on.

Life's been pretty boring. No more hanging out every night with friends or playing mahjong for 24 hours straight. Gotta get my life back on track. I really can't freaking wait to pass RES so I can get my license and start working. More motivated than ever. Know why? Because so many people have been telling me I'm nuts. Spend >35K to get a degree and ended up doing real estate. Because so many people have been telling me to go get a PROPER job. Hello? What proper job? Real estate not proper meh. I tell you what is everyone's definition of proper. It is to go for an interview at some not bad company, competing with other graduates, and working from 8am to 6pm, earning from 2.5 to 3K a month. That's proper? That, to me is pathetic. I can't live with 3K a month. I'm sorry I can't. Not boasting, but I can't live like an average singaporean. I hear graduates from NUS and NTU getting jobs at MBS. Wahhh sounds prestigious. But know what? They earn like 2.2K a month and they do shit job. So who's nuts? I'm going to get my driving license. This is my motivation.

Chevrolet Cruze. Not like some BMW or what, but i love it. I swear to god I will be able to afford one WITHOUT MY PARENTS' HELP by the end of next year. I WILL. Even if I don't have my license by then I will still buy one. Then I will walk pass it everyday when I leave the house and feel damn proud. Heh.

Almost a month now. still slacking as usual. waiting for convocation in august. HAHA. okay just an excuse not to find a job. Actually, I'm just taking this time to prepare myself mentally and physically for what's coming. I kinda know what I wanna do. I think its quite impossible here in Singapore to do something you're passionate about and still be able to survive or live comfortably, unless of course you're very good at it. I want to dance, like everyday. But I know that unless I can spin like free and stretch my leg 360 degrees like Ryan or Fredy, I'll have difficulties meeting ends as a dancer. So, passion aside, I need to earn big bucks. Without money, there's no passion. True? I'm going to attend courses in July to get my property license. I know what everybody is saying. I've got a degree, why do property? Go work in some bank or big company. You know why? Because my degree is useless. Because I'm not living in denial and think that I will have the same opportunities as a graduate from NTU or SMU. Face it SIM peeps. Do you really think the SIM cert makes a difference? Besides, so many people are working in banks and MNCs, so what? They got in, and they're stuck there forever. No progression, no prospects. I'm not saying everybody is like that, but I'm am not confident of surviving all those office politics. Given my temper, I'm probably gonna fuck the boss upside down, and MIA for weeks, which is also another reason why property is good for me. I don't want to be restricted by authority. I don't want to have to report to my manager and what not. If I happy I work. If I don't work I don't get paid lor. Simple. And I'm giving myself 8 years. By the age of 30, I'll earn my first million. Realistic? I don't know. But if i close mei's house, I'm 10% closer to 1 million :)

Just gonna slack around, do some part time job for the time being until I can officially start working as an agent. Play mah jong as usual, almost everyday. Anybody wanna play mah jong please jio me. I play till nobody wanna play with me already. All sian liao. But bigger bets please. Poker also can. Haha.

I just got this very random thinking. You know how people always say don't sit immediately after you exercise because your butt will get bigger? So if I lay face down after I exercise my boobs will get bigger too? I shall try haha.

And I noticed, the trains are always more crowded in the centre cabins. Is it human nature to not want to be the first to go or last to leave? Because the first and last cabins are always so empty, and people all suffocate around the middle part of the train. Same for public toilets. People tend to take the centre cubicles. They don't like to enter the first or last cubicle. So the next time you use a public toilet, take the first cubicle, its the cleanest :)

Nothing much to update already. I've passed down. The new comm seems to be doing pretty well. Pretty enthu. Good thing right? Hope everything will be well for them. I'll still go back of course. Gonna keep dancing. And enjoy life for now.

I am an IaMmE fan even before they were in ABDC 6. I was already a fan of Chachi and Moon even before the crew was formed. I love their creativity and originality. If IaMmE didn't win ABDC 6 next week, I will be so disappointed with America. Vote wisely Americans. I wish I could vote though.

Came back from Bangkok on tuesday. I miss the food and the company. Other than that, nothing much. Haha. Not really a fan of the unclean air and roadside stalls, but I like the pace of life there. Slow and steady. Hate the sight of office wears and LV bags packed in trains during peak hours. Made me breathless. Felt tired for them. Anyways, results will be out next week. Nothing to ask for. Haha. If I clear all, how ah? Work ah? The word I dread my whole life, WORK. Can I interview at as my dad's PA? Then stay at home everyday. Aiya I also don't know what I'm afraid of. But the thought of working just scares me.

I don't know if the trip to Taiwan can be materialized. If we don't book now, I'm afraid we can't get anymore hotels in Taipei. The last time I checked, almost 70% of the reasonable hotels were fully booked. The remaining looked haunted. FML. I wanna go Bangkok again. For the food and massage. Seriously. I hope June will be a good time :)

Had been watching this Hong Kong drama 'Every Move You Make' on stream about criminal psychology and reading the human body language. I was thinking, why all the criminals got courage to take people's life, but can't compose themselves in front of the police? And if you really intend to kill someone, don't you plan? Just kill, then hide the weapon, clean away figure prints, and run away? If I'm planning a murder, I would made a spear out of ice, so that after stabbing that person, the ice will dissolve and nobody would ever find the weapon. And why the scriptwriters so not creative? Every case they will catch the culprit. Why can't they have like a murder or rape case where they have no clues and no justice is done? Then the victim just commit suicide out of distress.

GE 2011 is still a popular topic after 3 days. I know this is a sensitive issue, and people have their own set of beliefs. There are supporters of the PAP and the oppositions, I respect that. Don't have to force your thinking onto others. You can share what you feel, but that doesn't mean I have to agree. Similarly, I can say I support the oppositions, I may not have gotten my friends' consensus, but that does not mean we'll fight and stop talking to one another. True? Of course my friends will know, I'm pro-oppositions by nature. I question and constantly seek to redefine the norm. I always believe that there will never be one best way, and that we should always try to search for a better way. Say for this election, if the opposition had won more seats in the parliament, will that make Singapore better? I don't think so. Now that PAP has 81 out of 87 seats, nothing has changed. The weather is still as horrible.

I got really angry today, when my mom told me the clerk in our company who supposedly was a PAP supporter, voted for the opposition in the end. She said she read an interview of the China scholars in Singapore online. They did not apply to come and pursue their studies in Singapore, but rather, were offered scholarships by our government. So, you mean our government went over China and asked people come packed our schools? She specifically told me, that there was a group of rude China students at the bus stop, pointing fingers at Singaporean students: "十年后，新加坡就是我们的天下。你们新加破人休想和我们挣。"

HUH? You mean now, Singaporeans don't even have a place in our own country anymore? The foreigners here are so effing proud, like we will die without them. Like we begged them to come here? Or maybe we (the government) did? Of course these are what I heard, so it might not be reliable.

My friend had tagged me in a very long post on Facebook arguing about how the PAP has made Singapore remained relatively stable and competitive despite economic fluctuations in the global market and why the oppositions' stand on cheaper public housing is a misrepresentation of the actual situation in the economy (extract pasted at the end of this post). I agree. I agree that all the policies implemented by the PAP has contributed significantly to Singapore's global standing, and will definitely continue to bring us forward. But is this all we Singaporeans care about? To be rich? To stand as an aggressive and leading trading hub internationally and welcome people from practically everywhere to blatantly take over our home? To allow people of a different nationality to define our identity, to define who we are and what we stand for? This is not globalization my friends. This is clearly a case of over diversification. And this is PAP's argument of having foreign talents. So much so that all our talents are now foreigners.

What about the foreign NON-talents?

Do we need foreigners to work in our Cheers and scold our citizens brainless? You so smart you don't fucking come Singapore and work as a cashier beeotch.

So the Singapore government is spending millions of dollars funding foreigners' scholarships and all that crap when they aren't even bonded to stay and work in Singapore? What is the point when some of the foreign students wishes to just come here, have a free lunch then leave? Why not use this money to help our fellow Singaporeans in need, help the people who truly belong to this country? At the very least, respect your hosts, and know your limitations as guests. If you find Singapore revolting, and unacceptable, please leave. Cancel your study grants, return the money that you owe and leave. What you received as your allowances, are hard earned taxpayers' money.

Some of these Chinese students claim that we descriminate against them. What descrimination could you possible face when the Government of Singapore has already provided you with student grants similar to that of a Singapore citizen? These students claim that we forgotten our roots, that our ancestors too were from China. No we have not. But that is not as important as knowing our national identities as Singaporeans, and understanding that SINGAPORE IS WHERE WE WERE BORN, RAISED AND WHERE WE WILL BE RAISING OUR CHILDREN. I DO NOT CONSIDER MYSELF 'CHINESE'. I CONSIDER MYSELF A SINGAPOREAN. THIS IS MY COUNTRY. THE STARS ON MY FLAG ARE WHITE, NOT YELLOW.

I'm not referring to everybody. Some foreign students are hardworking and polite too. I just find people who come to Singapore as though we motherfuckingly owe them a living revolting and loathsome.

Is economic development the only indicator of success? All these while, the government had been trying to make Singapore an ideal place for trading, for foreign investors, for so many things. Why is the success of our home only measured by all these factors? If you read what my friend wrote below, he mentioned that oppositions' proposal of lowering public housing cost will cause an overall decrease of our wealth. It will cause the property that we currently own to fall in value. I KNOW THAT WELL ENOUGH. I know that we need to earn what we deserve. But how are we supposed to compete when our government is constantly adding hurdles and bringing in more competitors? Seriously, if losing a bit of wealth means so many other less well off fellow Singaporeans can have a home, WHY NOT? There is a trade off to everything. I rather have a less developed country that I can call my home, then live in a first world country and lose my sense of belonging. A nation's identity is PRICELESS, and no amount of money or development is ever considered worthy to sacrifice it. This is not an issue of being logical or not. Some people are just getting way too practical.

Rising costs is of much importance to us, but do you know it is not easy to solve this issue that the global economy is facing... There is a reason why prices of precious metals have increased to record high, because of inflation. There are limited supply of land for agriculture, for minerals, climate changes, increasing tensions between countries that resulted in oil prices going up, there is tight supply for most of the commodities, with the entrance of china and india into the global market, demand and consumption is expected to increase. Although there will be ups and downs, but generally commodities is expected to increase over the long term. So how can we blame government for rising costs...

if our government, the global economy and some of the world brightest minds are facing this inflation issue and have difficulty tackling the problem, how and why do you think opp can solve this problem... and the WORST thing is... they actually want to control our housing price significantly... do you know if that happens... if property prices are cheap...if property prices drops...

If you wanted TPL to be out, you shouldn't even vote for PAP in the first place. PAP won Marine Parade by 18,349 votes. Not 18 votes leh. 18,349 VOTES!! Blame the 18,349 people for putting TPL in the parliament. What's the use of petitioning now? This is what the residents of Marine Parade wanted isn't it? Same for George Yeo. We all know George Yeo is a brilliant Minister of Foreign Affairs. But WP won PAP by 12,433 votes. This means despite knowing that George Yeo is a good MP, 12,433 PEOPLE STILL VOTED FOR THE WORKERS' PARTY. The same for Bishan-TPY. No point wanting Chiam See Tong back only now. What were the 62,282 people of Bishan-TPY thinking when they voted for WKS?? Can you imagine what Sitoh Yin Pin of Potong Pasir is feeling, knowing that 1 out of every 2 people in Potong Pasir is actually not for the PAP? It's true, $80 to many might be nothing. Go to some random blogshop, click click click, $180 gone. BEST, after I watched American Best Dance Crew, I decided that I need to support IaMmE crew, so I went to their website and bought the pants they wore on the first episode. $85 per pair, and I bought TWO OF THE SAME KIND, different colour. How cool is that? You might not be aware, but $80 to some families can be a whole week's expenses. I don't know the extent of poverty Singaporeans are facing because I have never been in contact with any. But I watched renovAID okay.. :) That's like probably 1% of those people who really need help? I do believe there are a lot of people who are far more less fortunate than we know, and had heard of. Never take anything for granted.

Because I have been going to downtown east more recently, the SDA's posters outside ehub caught my attention. I thought they simply added a red star on the audi's logo and called it theirs. There is one thing I totally agree with him and I think everyone should know. "Our country is so small. We don't have millions of people here. Already we have difficulties finding the right talent, then why further divide the talent into party lines? We got to learn how to start working together. People say that opposition parties need to come together, then along we will be able to take over the government. I say that EVERYBODY needs to come together, including the old ruling party, BECAUSE WE HAVE VERY FEW PEOPLE." TRUE? TRUE. THE BEST I've heard so far. Better than Nicole Seah. Not so much about individual or the party's interests, but really 100% for the welfare and future of Singaporeans. I am truly sorry Javin I often made fun of your race. Now I know your power. "Are you with me? Say oh no!" Hahahahaha. No lah, Seriously, I think what he said about being a small country and having little talents made a very good point. Instead of competing against each other, we should come together and make the best out of what we have. The PAP should understand that by voting for the opposition, we're not trying to bring down the government. We just want to be heard. And there must be something they did wrong for their popularity to drop so drastically. I noticed all the PAP videos on youtube had more dislikes than likes. The total opposite of the oppositions. Of course this does not represent how singapore will vote on 7 may, but it does show something right? I know its none of my business, but I really hope NSP wins marine parade and WP wins Aljunied.

I've been rather complacent about global marketing, thinking that I will sure do well. I shall repent, and start serious revision tomorrow (i mean later) because I wanna play mahjong this weekend! This time last week, I'm like kan jionging for SM after 2 horrible papers. Talking about SM, I really need to thank two people. I guess there's a limit to everything, especially disappointment. When you cannot get anymore disappointed than you've already been, you recover from it. True? Everybody can carry on with life without anybody. It's just a matter of time. Somehow I feel less restricted. I feel like myself again, not compelled to please anybody. This should be the way isn't it? Had enough of all these nonsense. This will be the last, I promise. If nothing goes wrong, my university life will end in about 10 days' time. Till then, I shall enjoy my last few moments of carefreeness, laid-back life.

Spent the past few days at NSRCC. Really had a good time. As though exams are over. Lol. Talked more about politics then I ever did in the past 22 years of my life. Its interesting how this topic becomes more appealing as you get older. I think its because the issues that are discussed will directly have an impact on us VERY SOON. By 'us' I meant my friends or people around my age who are voting for the first time. Issues like public housing, GST, health care, employment and what not, aren't they the reason why we are all slogging so hard for a degree?

Nicole Seah has officially became the most popular politician in Singapore. I think to be able to successfully garner support you not only need to have substance, you also need to have looks. Don't you agree? Human beings are superficial, and by looking good she had already won half the battle. If you scroll down her facebook fan page, you see lots of people using her picture as their display pic. If she is not pretty, will people do that? Why isn't anyone putting Sylvia Lim's photo as their DP? Her arguments are just as good. Why is Nicole Seah more popular than Tin Pei Ling? Obvious reasons. Partly also due to the fact that Nicole can communicate her ideas across so much better than TPL. She doesn't praise herself, and is so much more humble. Of course, these are just my opinions. And to be honest, I started following news about her because I thought she looked good too. Of course this is just one of the reasons. You need to have the complete package.

I always wondered why politicians are always so old. When I was younger I always thought politicians are like history teachers, old people gathering together at a place discussing boring issues. No matter how open minded a person is, when you're old, your thinking becomes outdated. You become less receptive to new ideas. Older people always think they know what's best for a given situation, because they have more experience, or because they have been through it previously. Don't you think so? I'm not stereotyping, but I just can't help but notice this inverse relationship between age and receptivity. I watched almost all the rally videos I can find online, and I noticed MM Lee seemed to look a little absentminded. Maybe that's his look all along, I don't know. But I personally feel that he has been really oppressive because there are more oppositions this year or because PAP's position is threatened. I always felt like we were never a democratic country. How are we democratic, when we are governed by a group of so called 'elites' who've all graduated from nothing less than the Ivy league institutes, speaks english with a slang, and earns an astronomical sum of monthly salary, all trying to act like they know what is best for Singapore (in theory), what policies will be beneficial to Singapore in the long run (in theory), when all they care about is really just improving Singapore's economic figures so that they can safely say in the next election that they have represented Singaporeans to fight for a better future. Don't they take economics? Don't they know that economic prosperity does not equate to a better life and living standard? With increasing income disparity, the only people who are moving forward are the high income earners, which is made up of how many per cent of Singaporeans? Do you know that 20% of the top income earners make up 60% of the total income? The 80% of the middle and low income earners make up the remaining 40%. 80% of the workforce (middle and low income) make up 40% of the total income. How is that equivalent to prosperity? Oh, and probably half of the top income earners are our dear MPs.

You know when I read about MM Lee's justification of MP's high salary weeks ago, I thought that was rubbish. I didn't know the term legal corruption was a 'real' thing until so many people commented and told me about it. Why bother to even pay them so much money? Just get someone who genuinely wants to do the job.

I was just wondering, MM Lee said that the MPs are paid high salaries to prevent corruption. But if they are doing it for the high pay, aren't they already corrupted? If the government has to constantly worry that the MPs will succumb to corruption then they don't even deserve the job in the first place. And I have stayed in Tampines for the past 12 years, but I have never seen my MP in my life before too. Go Nicole! You and NSP will have my utmost support!

No doubt MM Lee is the man who 'made' Singapore who she is today (and I'm grateful for that), but that doesn't mean his policies are always what we desire. I personally felt that Singapore's interests and Singaporeans' interests are two different things altogether. Who is he to say that Tan Jee Say 'has no qualifications and is wrong' about his plans for Singapore? He graduated from Oxford University with an economics degree. So now if you're not from the PAP, you are not qualified to represent Singaporeans. Have you heard the rally speech by Teo Chee Hean and Tin Pei Ling? Not that I'm an expert in politics, but PAP's speeches are getting really.. (*Please fill in the blanks yourself*). I don't want to go to jail right after I graduate. "Rebates, Growth and Share....etc". Hello, you think by giving us a bit of money it will solve the problem? Nicole Seah is so right. The problem with PAP is that they cannot see the root of the problem. We need more people like Nicole Seah in the parliament.

I don't know why, but I go to your profile everyday. Why block me when you have nothing to hide. I cried the whole night. No. I cry myself to sleep every single night, even when I have a paper the next morning. And the feeling only gets stronger. Yes, I'm not even close to being fine. "It hurts when someone gives you so much to remember but they never seem to remember a single thing about it". I have been living in denial, thinking that by avoiding it altogether it will slowly fade off and everything will be fine. It kills me inside to pretend I'm all good and nothing has changed, and life was the same. I dare not admit that I'm feeling horrible, and moving on was just an excuse. I feel pieces of me chipped off everyday, I became oblivious to everything around me, or rather, I can't be bothered with anything else. Nothing seems to matter much. I try to keep myself occupied all the time, so that I have no time alone to think about it. But ALL THE FREAKING TIME that I was "having fun and enjoying myself", I can't help but think that it would be heaven if you were still here, if you didn't turn out to be what you were, or even if you would just show that you still care. And the hardest part was having to act like it don't matter anymore, when deep inside I know I'm no longer a whole. I was so heartbroken, yet I laughed it off like I already moved on to the next chapter of my life, and things were better off without you.

I think more than twenty people told me I deserved better since. But do I look like I care if I have the best? Sometimes you don't see the millions of people who accept you for who you are. All you notice is the person who doesn't. I think holding on to something that wasn't even there is the stupidest thing ever, and I'm doing exactly it. One month ago, I told you my brother's having a birthday party at NSRCC this weekend. You said you will buy him a present. I wanted to invite you today but I didn't. I rather die than introduce you to everyone, as my friend. I'd probably cry even before saying anything.

I have to announce to the whole world, that ME, LIM SHIQI, did not touch SM AT ALL!!!! Can i commit suicide now? After investment paper on thursday, I will have approximately 15 hours to figure out the whole module before the paper. You know what makes this so exciting? I did not attend most of the SM lectures, SO... my lecture notes machiam new. WELL DONE. YAY. I feel like I'm fighting a war. Maybe i should put camou on my face when i go for exams. Can't wait for this week to be over. Marketing paper postponed to 12 may because of the elections. Means, I can go stay over at the chalet this coming weekend!!! I realized I only blog when I'm unhappy, because I wanna keep all the happiness to myself when I'm happy? Haha. No lah. I also don't know. Maybe because whenever I'm unhappy I'm alone at home. So hello best friend Macbook for enduring all my shit, blasting your speaker, multi-tasking you like mad and opening tabs like free. Don't you think only when you are angry or sad or disappointed do you find a need to complain and vent all these crap? If you're happy, complain si mi lan? siao.

So, i attempted to study MC just now. I opened the book, look at the topics and decided to start with Chapter 8: Power and Resistance to Change. The title is probably familiar to many. I thought so too, at first. Power, leadership, resistance and all that repetitive shit you see over and over again without the school realizing all these cannot be taught with mere words. Anyhow, I read one paragraph, and started tweeting and watching ABDC Season 6. WTF STREET KINGDOM IS WTF!!@#$%@Q! I'm sorry I don't understand krumping so I really thought the choreography was like a CHUI 6. But all the orgasm started when I saw IaMmE, Request, Instant Noodle and 787. WOAHHH!!! okay my point being, i tried to act smart and go straight into the questions. To my horror....

I finally went reflexology again yesterday, I think I will go every week from now. Felt so relaxed after it. Everyone should try it, especially if you're the kind that doesn't exercise. Seriously. Boost your metabolism rate. Speaking of exercising... I haven't danced for a week plus? Dance as in taking real dance classes. Can't wait for Suntec's rehearsal to start. I blasted music in my room and freestyled like nobody's business just now. Felt stupid. But yes, I happy can already. I'm going to train for abs. Not ambitious on this one, 4 packs enough!! I already have the top 2, although not well-defined. The difficult part is how to get the bottom 2?!?! I just want like the outline. later i end up drawing on my stomach. so pathetic haha.

OH BTW, I'M ALLERGIC TO DOGS. Eh, no hidden meaning. Like literally allergic to dogs, cannot touch them and stuff. Too late. Cause now my leg has like rashes and scars all over that I doubt will heal any time soon. Worst of all, I didn't even take the medication the doctor gave me. haha. So ugly. But i seriously don't care. At the very least I won't attract superficial people who judge girls based on their legs and complexion.

Okay I admit I was really angry, irrational and mean when I wrote the previous post, but i felt bad when you told me you were hurt by what I wrote. It's true, you never ill-treated me. You were always so sweet and all. I'm sorry.

If you die now, what makes you think you can die peacefully? Dying is the ultimate stage of avoiding the problem. If you really want to repent, you should start by FACING THE FREAKING PROBLEM and not get angry and avoid it altogether. Make the wrongs right. You know what is your problem? Your always say you know you're wrong, but you always make it a point to hide part of the truth. And all these lying becomes a vicious cycle that confuses you. If you don't have photographic memory, don't even try lying. You lost touch of the truth and start making up stories to fill in the missing gaps. Why make things difficult for yourself. Why can't you just be Tham Yi Chun, just be yourself. Stop portraying yourself as someone else. Floyd, life is not perfect. I used to want things to be perfect too, but I realized there is no such thing as perfection. Only when you start accepting the fact that you have to lose certain things to gain others, only when you realized its not about what you have, but what you can do with what you have, ONLY WHEN YOU FEEL CONTENT, that you will truly be happy.

Don't be obsessed by being the most popular or handsome guy. The truth is, 99% of the girls are not superficial. And its not the looks we're looking for. Every girl will think that their boyfriend is handsome. Beauty comes from within, beauty comes from love. If you think just by being good looking you can fit in, i pity you.
